DEVIL’S WEAPON
“And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them.” – Deuteronomy 20:3 (KJV)
Beloved, whether we recognize it or not, every believer is engaged in spiritual warfare. The moment you give your life to Christ, you step into a battlefield where the enemy seeks to weaken your faith, cloud your mind with doubt, and cripple your spirit with fear. But take heart! God has equipped you with divine armor to overcome every fiery dart of the enemy (Ephesians 6:16).
FEAR: THE ENEMY’S WEAPON OF CHOICE
One of the most common weapons Satan uses is fear. He knows that fear paralyzes, weakens faith, and disrupts spiritual progress. But our Lord Jesus Christ has already won the victory! 2 Timothy 1:7 declares:
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
So, why should you fear an enemy who has already been defeated? The cross sealed his fate! Colossians 2:15 affirms:
“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
HOW TO CONQUER FEAR AND STAND STRONG
The key to victory is faith! Faith in God’s Word, faith in the finished work of Christ, and faith in the power of the Holy Spirit within you. James 4:7 instructs:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
When fear knocks, answer with faith! Declare God’s promises over your life. Remind the enemy of his defeat. Stand firm in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ!
ARISE, GOD’S WARRIOR!
God’s beloved, do you sometimes feel afraid? Shake off the fear! You are not a victim—you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)! Resist the devil with unwavering faith, and he must flee. Walk boldly in the victory Christ has secured for you.
You are a warrior, not a worrier!
You are victorious, not vulnerable!
You are an overcomer in Christ Jesus!
Go forth in faith, and let the devil tremble at your presence!
